Thanks to all of you on here posting pictures of your new boats i pulled the trigger on upgrading our 07 vlx to a 14 a22.

We are expecting to see it late May, early June. We are super stoked to get on the lake this summer and play around with surf gate! Have a new Danielo Diamand coming too.

Going to be a summer to remember!!!

Heres a few pictures of it!

Are the spray dates that far out for the A22's?

We have a local boat show coming up, they are waiting for some more boat sales before they ship one across the country. I am in no rush seeing as it is winter.

I just placed my order for the new T series yesterday. We don't have a spray date yet, but my dealer is going to see if he can switch my boat out with one of his A22's that's already in the production Que. We are fortunate and only live 1.5 hours from the factory so me and the family are planing to go over and watch them pop it out of the mold. We are super excited! This will be our first tow boat!

He seemed to think that we would get the boat by April. I have another question that I hope someone in here can maybe shed som light on...and this might turn into somewhat of a thread hijack so maybe I should start a new thread....here goes.

Before ordering this boat my dad (who is a pretty competent auto mechanic) was encouraging me to get the closed cooling system (salt series motor) he said that raw water in the engine all the time can't be good for the cooling jackets in the motor and exhaust manifolds. I told him that all the boats are this way and nobody has problems. Does anybody in these forums use the salt series motor? What is the winterization process for those motors? Is it worth the extra cost? Thanks!

I have ours coming with the anodes and flush kit. We have a lot of salt water around here(atlantic ocean) and looked into it. My dealer said it wasn't really worth it for me because we run ours in fresh water...all the time. It is an expensive option if i remember correctly. I have heard if you flush it after every use with salt water it will help a lot.

Kirkcurrie, do recall what your dealer said about that kit? Mine told me that you can't just get the closed cooled engine by itself. You have to buy the salt series package, which cost 4,400 and then add the zincs and and steering.

The price sounds right. My quote was around 5k for the closed cooling. We never got into the other options regarding the steering and zincs. My dealer through in the anodes just because. Sorry i can't be more help.
