curious to see how that 5 blade will work.......

I just received an email from acme and they said they were not doing the 1615-112m any longer.

"The 112M is a pitchchanged propeller. We will not be making any more pitch changed props like this. We now have the new Acme 2079-14.50X12.00VL4B 1.125 .105 cup four blade nibral propeller. This is the most aggressive that we have now."

Oh wow...I was looking for the 1615. I heard the 5 blade works very well keeping the rpms down/plane out when the boat is weighted heavy.

I've heard it is the absolute jam for the A20. The guy I know who runs 1100lb sacs in the rear of his A20, pnp front bag, and bow triangle, tells me that, with his standard motor, his rpm's dropped from like 4k (with the core prop) at wakeboard speed to like 3.3k with this prop at 23mph. Apparently, the boat still planes like a champ too.

I'm hoping to get an opportunity to test one of these guys out on my A22 with the Raptor motor and same weight setup at some point. If I get a chance to do that, I'll post up the results.

I've been looking, but haven't found a shop selling one. I'm gonna be needing something in a couple weeks....

Just installed mine. Quick question- I wasn't able to put my acme prop puller on the 5 blade after I got it installed. The blades are too close together. I didn't spend too much time trying to figure it out due to the hell inferno called Texas heat, but was wondering for those that have the 5 blade.
Gonna test her out tomorrow.

Went out today with the 5 blade. I've had stock ballast, 2x750's in rear, 400 in bow (don't have the integrated bow sac yet) and crew of 5. rpm's out of the hole never went above 4K and once up to speed it hovered in the low 3K's.

I called oj and think i paid 660.

I keep trying to convince myself that the fuel savings over a couple years will offset the cost- haha. I do like the prop though.
