Hey guys, I have a 2011 A20 with PNP. When try to fill the bags after the hardtanks are full, water shoots out through the drain holes on the outside of the hull similar to when draining before the bags fill. It's basically draining water while simultaneosly trying to fill the bags. This is causing the bags to take an enormous amount of time to fill. In addition, I keep getting large amount of air in the bags while filling and have to constantly undo the vent cap to let the air out. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Also for the front bag in the bow, I have 3 hose connections? Which of these should be drain/fill. I think the fill is on the bottom toward the center of the boat, which doesn't make much sense to me. I though the fill would be on top and drain should be out the bottom.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Devin

For the bags and your filling issue, is the 3rd port in the bag connected to a vent hose?

For the front bag the drain hose goes on the bottom at the rear of the bag. The fill hose goes on the center and front one is for the vent hose.

stick your finger in the port it will force water into the sac. it does that because its easier to push it out then it is to push into sac you need to change that. finger is cheapest

I will have to check to see where the hoses on the front bags go.

As far as the overflow issue, it happens with boths rears and the front/center. Seems like its just a poor design. I should not have to plug the hole with my finger to fill up the bags.

Is there a way to actually fix this? I want to sell the boat to upgrade to an A22 and would be embarrased showing that to a potential buyer.

To fix the rear try filling the bag first and then let it gravity fill the tank

That's what I do. But mine is a 2013 model.

I haven't been able to see how the plumbing on a '13 is routed, hopefully someone who has experienced this can help out, maybe when DTB gets his '14 in a couple of weeks he can help
