Big IF...but if the A24 is going anywhere near $80k-$85k, now you're talking Malibu LSV money. In addition, that's getting waaaay closer to just stepping up to a competition level surf boat like a Centurion Enzo and Tige Z3 (depending on options).

Yeah. Not sure that ad is legit. Picture shows an A22 w/ old swim deck too.

I got the chance to spend a whole bunch of time in the A24 and I have to say it's a pretty sweet boat. I surfed and wakeboarded with a variety of different weight configurations. When you really sink it, the wake and wave are top notch. I was able to wakeboard at 82' and 23.6 mph without any wash or crumble in the wake . My current boat is a 22MXZ and I was able to get just as big of wake out of the 24 and it was a little cleaner. The surf wave was very clean with none of the spray that occurs on the MXZ series. I would have to say that when you really weight this boat that it's one of the best surf waves in the Malibu/Axis lineup.

Also, you can fit wakeboards and surfboards under the starboard seat if you don't get the flip up chillax option on that side. You could fit several without an issue on that side. Also could store them on the port side where the batteries are...that compartment is huge.

Man I hope that it is legit. That's way more affordable. And keeps in line with axis price point. Fingers crossed.

I wanna see Doug do a retrofit, those tabs were only held in with 3 screws on each hinge, and they were small screws at that, this looks like an easy project if someone can get the parts and gate controller, someone go snooping around the factory for us and find some goodies!

That add is legit. I asked my dealer at SMG and this was their response:

"That is correct pricing but the boat is stripped down with a 350 Monsoon versus the 410 ($4200 difference), Sound pack 1 versus 2 ($2340 difference), fixed versus swivel racks ($520), etc. We tend to stock our boats with more upgrades. I built one today with a handful of option upgrades and it was in the mid $70k range. MSRP Close to $80k."

Awesome!!
