I noticed a lot of upgrades since my '09 but most have been incorporated over the years. Other than the big dash changes w toggles etc, that was introduced in the 2013, I noticed the upholstery was way better than mine. It felt much more substantial and beefy. A lot more cushioned and comfortable to sit on.

I'll try to upload some videos of the wave switching back and forth riding. It looks very similar to the malibu vids of the wave switching. The wave seemed a lot longer with the surfgate. We were riding with only the stock 900lbs and wedge down. The wave lacked a bit of the push that I'm used to but I'd imagine it'd improve a lot with more weight. What I did notice was the shape was a lot different. It was very clean but didn't have a very firm lip. More of a mellow rolling wave as opposed to a "curling" type wave. I prefer a firmer lip to do airs off of. It'd be a dream wave for skim style though. Again I don't know how adding extra weight would affect the shape. I'd imagine it'd improve the shape even more. I'll try to upload a quick video of me surfing it.

One other thing I noticed was the wave did still seem to improve with more weight on the surf side. I ride goofy and it was much better on the goofy side with the driver and when my wife of 115lbs would sit on the surf side instead of non-surf.

The dual access to the storage under the glove box is a nice feature. Did the storage in the rear seem any bigger? Is the boat a bit wider than the A22?

The rear storage compartments are the same size as the A22. I was told the majority of the extra length is in the cabin with some in the bow. It's the same width but the sales rep said the hull was actually tapered more toward the rear to allow the boat to sit lower in the water. Oh and I forgot to mention that there are now two PnP bags in the front. One on each side of the walk way instead of the one arrowhead bag.

Link to video with surfgate in action. I tried getting the angle of the tab as it's deployed but there was too much spray covering it.

Video link of me riding to show the wave shape and height. Stock 900lb ballast and this time four other people in the boat. I usually have no problem at all staying in the pocket. The wave lacked a little bit of push, but again, no PnP on board.
