M boat is a couple months old at this point and has developed a bit of up and down play in the swim deck. I ca see why/how because of the way it's mounted, but wasn't sure if this is normal or if I need to push the subject with my dealer? When I first brought it up he said it was normal.

Last boats deck mounted completely differently so it was impossible for something like this to happen. This mount seems much more stout, but its a bit unnerving when it bangs around in the water.....you can typically feel it when you step down onto it.

Mine started doing the same thing recently. I can easily feel the difference. There was no play/give when I first got it and now you can feel some play with every little step.

mine does the same thing but only on water. resting on the surface of the water it tries to float. so it hinges at the pin. I bet if you wedged a extra pad on the mount it would do it
