Hey guys,

I have recently noticed that my speed gauge is way off. When I check the GPS speed on my cell phone it shows 28MPH while I'm set at 21MPH on the boat gauge.

I know there is probably an easy way for me to adjust the gauge speed, but how? :)

Let me know,

Thank you

Mike

Mine reads 3-4 slow too, I'd like to know how to adjust it too, I'm planning on getting the GPS conversion kit but will still need to adjust the gauge to read correct.

press and hold the "info adj" toggle down for 3 seconds. Use the "info adj" up/down to edit displayed speed to match actual. Im a little leery of phone gps apps, but if you feel that they are accurate and refresh fast enough-go for it. Helps to have two sets of eyes. Also remember to adjust it at wakeboard AND surf speeds.

Thanks, I kept forgetting what button to push when I got out on the water, I have checked mine with a Garmin GPS and at 22 on the boat speedo I was actually doing 25.2. I'll try to get it set right next time out, hope it works

Mine was 2-3mph fast from the factory as well. Please let me know the specifics if you do a GPS conversion. Im semi-convinced that my boat sputters in the tight turns because the paddle wheel looses "traction".

Will do, I ordered it last nite, may not make it to the water until Memorial Day but I'll let you know how it works out.

Ahhaa, need to have it on air temp to adjust speedo, I never could remember or it just wouldn't enter self adjust mode, either way the GPS module will be here Friday so I'll try to get it in and have a friend pull me down the street and see if I can get it adjusted on the trailer.
