The A22 was boosting Tuesday night, and the water was butter.

Plus we had a great crew and a quadcopter.

I'm working on a new mount for my quad copter it should bring the Gimble forward and lower and I can counterbalance it with the battery. Hopefully I'll keep blades out-of-the-way.

Which quad are you using? My Blade350QX has a lot less blade showing in my movies, but I do not use a gimbal therefore always have a lot more downward camera angle at speed. Yours is much nicer and I especially liked the opening shot of tilting the camera into position. That was awesome. Were you using FPV to line up your shots?

Where you flying from the boat or from shore? I have been thinking of flying from the boat and having it chase my boat a little behind the boarder. I am a little worried about keeping orientation (my poor pilot skills) as I move through the water in the boat as the bird follows.

Its the angle with the gimbal. I need to set the limits on the gimbal to keep the blades out of the shot. This was mostly practice, I didn't think the blades were that offensive. It was my first FPV flight with a 7"monitor on my tx. I was sitting in the boat, backwards controls when looking at the quad, forward when looking at the screen. I have done easier things. :-)

Record in 1440p.. That will allow you scale it to 1080p and will remove the blades.

Heres a vid i did with my phantom

Nice vid. 1440 works for slow flight nicely, but I need 60fps for fast speed chasing otherwise i get bad jello.

Hmm strange.. Well with the GoPro 4 coming out your problems should be solved. It can record 1440p @ 80fps

Nice vid regardless
