So true! I always hated how the lines looked wrong in the early years, then they finally got it right around 2011 or 2012. This new one looks awful, like they just threw together some random pieces lying around the factory.

It still has the same full boat cover. Snaps are just for the bow cover to prevent a wave swamping the bow.

I don't think they start building the A22 until second week in August.
They told me mine was going to the third off the line and my spray date is aug 12

According to an article cross posted to malibu crew, the a22 is a complete redesign.

Potatoe Shack posted some pictures of the A22 in this thread. He didn't post any of the exterior due to some flaws in the gel coat shading. He said the flaws were due to different colors being tested to see which one looks the best. I was on the lake the day before and seen the exact boat he posted pictures of. It looked like the hull has some sharper edges on the side. I am not sure if that was to clean up the surf wake or what but they looked pretty cool.

From the Malibu post I read they changed the A22 hull from 100" to 102".
